National Sexual Violence Resource Center serves as the nation’s principle information and resource center
regarding all aspects of sexual violence. It provides national leadership, consultation and technical
assistance by generating and facilitating the development and flow of information on sexual violence
intervention and prevention strategies.

Indiana's teen pregnancy and birth rates and the spread of sexually transmitted infections among
adolescents and teens.
Fire Stop Program provides education that is incident and age appropriate to children who have exhibited a
curiosity to misuse or set fires. A fire risk analysis is completed to identify those children who are at risk of
repeating this dangerous behavior. The family may be referred for additional counseling to stop these fire-

Striving To Reduce Youth Violence Everywhere (STRYVE) is a national initiative, led by the Centers for
Disease Control and Prevention, which takes a public health approach to preventing youth violence before it
starts. To support this effort, the web site provides communities with the knowledge and resources to be
successful in preventing youth violence.
National Runaway Switchboard (NRS) mission is to help keep America’s runaway and at-risk youth safe and
off the streets. The organization serves as the federally designated national communication system for

Project Lifesaver mission is to provide timely response to save lives and reduce potential injury for adults
and children who wander due to Alzheimer’s, autism, and other related conditions or disorders.
Project ChildSafe is a nationwide program whose purpose is to promote safe firearms handling and storage
practices among all firearms owners through the distribution of key safety education messages and free
gun locking devices (safety kits).
Safe Families for Children-Provides volunteers who open their homes to children whose parents are
experiencing a short-term emergency, such as hospitalization or a longer-term crisis such as drug abuse.
