Indiana:
Access to Recovery (ATR) is a program designed to eliminate barriers to treatment and recovery services
for adults dealing with substance abuse and addiction issues.

Indiana Addictions Issues Coalition is a broad-based, diverse, not-for-profit organization focused on
creating and taking advantage of opportunities to bring all interested individuals and entities together,
projecting a unified voice educating, influencing and advocating for addictions issues with the goal of
changing attitudes, beliefs and confusion about addiction and improving the lives of those affected by

Indiana Prevention Resource Center (IPRC) was established to assist Indiana based alcohol, tobacco and
other drug (ATOD) prevention practitioners improve the quality of their services. In recent years our
purview has expanded to include problem gambling prevention and ATOD treatment.

Recovery Orient Yourself is a website devoted to helping publicly highlight the recovery movements in
Addictions and Mental Health. It is the goal of the project and products to establish a recognizable insignia
that will promote the public awareness, understanding and recognition that Recovery Works.

Witham Health Services provides at home drug testing kits for parents/guardians. Testing is confidential.
The kits come with a list of treatment programs and counseling services. Kits are available to non-Boone

workforce which provides addictions treatment and recovery services to those entering the treatment

Community Anti-Drug Coalitions of America (CADCA) has been training local grassroots groups, known as
community anti-drug coalitions, in effective community problem-solving strategies, teaching them how to
assess their local substance abuse-related problems and develop a comprehensive plan to address them.
Today, CADCA is the nation’s leading drug abuse prevention organization, representing the interests of
more than 5,000 community anti-drug coalitions in the country.

Drug Abuse Resistance Education (DARE) is a police officer-led series of classroom lessons that teaches
children from kindergarten through 12th grade how to resist peer pressure and live productive drug and
violence-free lives. The primary mission is to provide children with the information and skills they need to
live drug-and-violence-free lives.

Faces & Voices of Recovery is committed to organizing and mobilizing the millions of Americans in long-
term recovery from alcohol and other drug addiction, our families, friends, and allies to speak with one
voice. Our organization is dedicated to changing public perceptions of recovery, promoting effective public
policy in Washington and in all 50 states, and demonstrating that recovery is working for millions of

Family Guide To Keeping Youth Mentally Healthy & Drug Free is a public education Web site developed by
the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) to communicate to parents and
other caring adults about how they can help promote their child's mental health and reduce his or her risk
for becoming involved with alcohol, tobacco, and illegal drugs.

National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) mission is to lead the Nation in bringing the power of science to

Parents: The Anti-Drug was created by the National Youth Anti-Drug Media Campaign to equip parents and
other adult caregivers with the tools they need to raise drug-free kids. Working with the nation's leading

SAMHSA: National Clearinghouse for Alcohol and Drug Information is the nation's one-stop resource for
information about substance abuse prevention and addiction treatment.
  • UnderageDrinking is a public education website in support of the Surgeon General's Call to Action to
    communicate to parents about how they can help reduce their child's risk of becoming involved with
    alcohol. The site's main focus is to provide parents with information and tools to help them have
    open and ongoing conversations with their preteen and teen children about the dangers of underage
    alcohol use. The interactive, online Action Plan creates a plan to talk to youth about alcohol use. It
    can be created by answering 3 questions (gender, age and previous discussion of alcohol) which then
    creates a plan on when to talk, how to talk and other things you can do.

SoberRecovery helps addicts, alcoholics, dual diagnosed, their friends family and loved ones find hope...and

STOP Underage Drinking is a comprehensive portal of federal resources for information on underage
drinking and ideas for combating the issue.

Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD) provides students with the best prevention tools possible
to deal with the issues of underage drinking, other drug use, impaired driving and other destructive

Therapeutic Communities of America (TCA) primary goal is to foster individual change and promote positive
growth.  This is accomplished by changing an individual’s lifestyle through a community of concerned
