1st-5th Grades: Sara's Quest has been developed for use in schools or in the home for children to learn about the
effects of drugs on their brain and body.

2nd-3rd Grades:
NIDA Junior Scientist Program, Brain Power, goal is to lay the foundation for future scientific learning
and substance abuse prevention efforts by providing an early elementary school-age audience with a basis of
knowledge and critical thinking skills.

6th-8th Grades:
Cool Spot was created by the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism (NIAAA), the lead
U.S. agency supporting research into the causes, prevention, and treatment of alcohol problems. The content of The
Cool Spot is based on a curriculum created for the Alcohol Misuse Prevention Study.

6th-10th Grades:
NIDA for Teens was created to educate adolescents, as well as their parents and teachers, on the
science behind drug abuse. The site delivers science-based facts about how drugs affect the brain and body so that
kids will be armed with better information to make healthy decisions.

6th-12th Grades:
Heads Up: Real News About Drugs and Your Body by Scholastic contains real, science-based facts
about the effects drugs have on the teen brain and body. Includes articles and features with the latest facts.

6th-12th Grades?
Above the Influence was created for the National Youth Anti-Drug Media Campaign-a program of
the Office of National Drug Control Policy. It is a youth prevention program for drug and alcohol use.

6th-12th Grades:
Too Smart To Start helps youth, families, educators, and communities prevent underage alcohol
use and its related problems. It provides useful programs and strategies, download materials, interactive games and
exercises, and other resources. There are sections for both
Tweens and Teens.

7th-8th Grade:

underlying the effects of alcohol on human biology and behavior.

10th + Grades:

CheckYourself is a place for older teens to think in a focused way about their relationship with drugs
and alcohol, and invites them to consider whether their substance use is turning into a problem for them. The site
allows visitors to "look in the mirror" by answering quiz questions about their lifestyle, reading first-person stories,
communicating with other teens, and playing decision games to see how they might act in situations involving drugs
